The Body Electric
The Body Electric sets the myth of Medusa within the context of the Clinton-Lewinsky affair, exploring the vilification of feminine sexuality, ownership over one’s own body, female friendships, and the effects of the mass media on young women. Above all else, this is a play that attempts to reclaim a traumatic event without causing further harm.

“This play is a shining instance of the cooperation of Grace's personal sensibility and masterful artistry, highlighting the scope of her knowledge and the expertise of her textual devices. The things that make Grace a captivating writer are the things that make her an invaluable collaborator to have in any room. This play is a masterclass in how to honor a bold story while protecting those who tell it.”
— Charlotte Weinman, Playwright

“This piece is sharp and hilarious and perfectly captures the bold bravado and vulnerability of adolescence. I loved how each character was drawn and the subtle but seismic interpersonal shifts that built to a potent climax.”
